Protect Christmas Decorations All Year

Christmas decorations are often special and irreplaceable so why risk bringing them out next Christmas to see them broken or tattered. Make sure to save your priceless items and use an effective storage method so they will survive year after year.

Imagine what could be happening to the cardboard box you used to store your decorations in this year:
  • A basement can be a dangerous storage area since it tends to be damp and wet all year. A cardboard box sitting on the floor of a basement could be damaged by water which can ruin an artificial tree and its lights. The TreeKeeper Bag is water resistant and is made to protect artificial trees in damp conditions.
  • Choosing an attic for Christmas decorations can also be a risky storage decision. The roof of your house could start to leak from the snow or rain, causing your cardboard ornament box to suffer water damage. Mice in your attic space could also chew holes in your box and break or ruin special ornaments. Use the heavy duty OrnamentKeeper bag to protect your precious Christmas ornaments from the risks of attic storage.
  • Storage areas near children's toys and games may also be a problem since kids tend to knock things over to find what they are looking for. A WreathKeeper bag is perfect solution since it has straps for hanging on a hook rather than stacked in a box.
Protect your favorite Christmas decorations by using smart storage options in your home. Don't wait until next Christmas to properly store important Christmas items; make sure they survive storage without being damaged.

The artificial Christmas tree may be your biggest problem, but organizing other Christmas décor is also necessary in order to successfully decorate your house next year.

  • Placing treasured ornaments in a cardboard box could mean they will be ruined the next time you bring them out of storage. The OrnamentKeeper bag organizes up to 80 ornaments and can prevent them from breaking or cracking.

The LightKeeper bag has two inner rotating spools that allow you to wrap your lights inside the sturdy storage bag for quick clean up and easy installation next year.

  • A fully decorated wreath should not be thrown in a box or undecorated in order to store without damage. The WreathKeeper bag can store fully decorated wreaths in a heavy-duty nylon storage bag allowing wreath removal to be effortless.

Luckily for you, the TreeKeeper bag can take care of your artificial Christmas tree storage giving you one less thing to think about.

Many people prefer the artificial tree for its convenience and lack of mess, but getting your tree set up and put away every year can be frustrating. The TreeKeeper seeks to eliminate this problem once and for all.

With the TreeKeeper bag, you just zip the bag around your tree while it's still standing and move it right into storage. It's even easier if you get the TreeKeeper PRO. The PRO comes with a rolling tree stand, meaning that once you zip up your TreeKeeper bag, you can roll it right into a closet or storage space. There's even a TreeKeeper for decorated trees. These bag are designed to protect your ornaments while they're still on the tree.

All the TreeKeeper bags are made of tough, resistant nylon fabric, protecting them from moisture, mildew, or anything else that your basement could throw at it. Next Christmas, all you have to do is wheel your tree right back out, unzip the bag, and you're ready to get festive.

Once you've got your tree all figured out, check out some of the other products that treekeeperbag.com has to help get you squared away for the holiday. There's the LightKeeper, which keeps your lights protected and organized. The WrapKeeper is used for wrapping paper and little odds and ends, such as tape and scissors. There's also the WreathKeeper, which as you've probably deduced, holds wreaths.

A Bried History of Wreaths

The wreath is a staple around the home during Christmas. They're now synonymous with decorating for the holidays. But have you ever wondered where this tradition came from?

Wreaths actually began in ancient Persia, and they were not hung from the wall, but placed on the head. The first wreaths were originally head dresses worn at festive celebrations. No one is quite sure when they made the switch to wall decorations as we know them today, but the theory is that the wreaths were placed on wall-mounted hat racks and eventually became a decoration on their own.

Wreaths as we know them today were first popularized in the Germanic region of Europe. They began the popular tradition we have today of hanging decorative wreaths at Christmas time to celebrate the season. They typically used Advent Wreaths, which contain rings of candles in coniferous tree branches.

Today, wreaths are commonly seen throughout the entire year, not just at Christmas. Still, though, we have seasonal wreaths especially for the holiday season. Products like the WreathKeeper from treekeeperbag.com are great for storing them when the holidays are over.
